Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Deskjet 4155e!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP DeskJet 4155e printer is showing offline, try these steps to bring it back online:

Restart the Printer & Computer

  • Turn off your printer, unplug it for 30 seconds, and turn it back on.
  • Restart your computer.

Check the Connection

  • If using Wi-Fi, ensure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
  • If using USB, unplug and reconnect the cable securely.

Set as Default Printer

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on HP DeskJet 4155e and select Set as default printer.

Fix in Windows:

Disable “Use Printer Offline” Mode

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click the HP DeskJet 4155e and select See what’s printing.
  • Click Printer on the top menu and uncheck Use Printer Offline.

Restart Print Spooler Service

  • Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Scroll down to Print Spooler, right-click, and select Restart.

Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Go to HP official website and download the latest drivers for the DeskJet 4155e.
  • Uninstall the existing printer from Control Panel > Devices and Printers, then reinstall using the new drivers.

Fix in macOS:

Delete and Re-add the Printer

  • Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
  • Select your HP DeskJet 4155e, click Remove Printer, then add it again.

Reset Printing System

  • Open System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
  • Right-click anywhere in the printer list and select Reset Printing System.
  • Re-add the printer.

If the issue persists, try HP Print and Scan Doctor (for Windows) or check for firmware updates from HP website.
