Hi I cannot print from my phone anymore as I got this problem that keeps on coming up. I have HP support so many times and they never once help me. In the end told me to go to android. Please has anyone come across this and know what to do because I haven't a clue and put in everything that I could probably be.

Hi @Ca54,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with the HP Print Service Plugin. To assist you effectively, I'll need more specific information about the problem you're encountering. However, I can provide some general troubleshooting steps that might help you resolve common issues with this plugin.
- Update the App: Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Print Service Plugin installed. Go to the Google Play Store (for Android devices) or the App Store (for iOS devices) and check for updates.
- Restart Your Device: Sometimes, simply restarting your smartphone or tablet can resolve minor glitches.
- Check Compatibility: Ensure that your HP printer is compatible with the HP Print Service Plugin. You can usually find a list of supported printers on the HP website.
- Enable the Plugin: Go to your device's settings and make sure the HP Print Service Plugin is enabled. On Android, this can be found in "Settings" > "Apps" > "HP Print Service Plugin." Make sure it's turned on.
- Clear Cache and Data: In your device's settings, navigate to "Apps" (or "Application Manager" on some devices), find the HP Print Service Plugin, and then clear its cache and data. Sometimes, cached data can cause issues.
- Reinstall the Plugin: If clearing the cache and data doesn't work, you can try uninstalling the plugin and then reinstalling it from the Google Play Store or the App Store.
- Check Wi-Fi Connection: Ensure that your device and your printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Printing won't work if they are on different networks.
- Printer Firmware Update: Make sure your printer has the latest firmware installed. Manufacturers often release updates that can improve compatibility with mobile printing apps.
- Reconnect to the Printer: Sometimes, the connection between the device and the printer can get interrupted. Try removing the printer from your device's list of available printers and then reconnecting it.
- Check for System Updates: Make sure your device's operating system is up to date. Outdated software can sometimes cause compatibility issues with apps.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
