Hi @Jg4848,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP Tango printer is showing as offline and not responding. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this and bring it back online.

Check printer power and status
Make sure the printer is powered on and showing a steady blue light.
A blinking or no light can indicate it is not connected to Wi-Fi.

Restart printer and network
Turn off the printer and unplug it for 30 seconds.
Restart your Wi-Fi router, then power the printer back on.

Confirm Wi-Fi connection
Open the HP Smart app and check the printer status.
If it shows offline, the printer may have lost its network connection.

Reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi
Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons together for 5 seconds to reset Wi-Fi.
Open HP Smart and follow the prompts to add the printer back to your network.

Set printer as online in Windows
Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
Right-click the HP Tango and ensure “Use Printer Offline” is unchecked.

Check network frequency
Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz or a combined 2.4/5 GHz network.
HP Tango does not connect to 5 GHz-only networks.

Disable VPN or firewall temporarily
Turn off any VPN or third-party firewall on the computer.
These can block communication between the printer and the network.

Assign a stable connection
Keep the printer within good range of the router.
Avoid frequently changing Wi-Fi networks, which can cause the printer to go offline.

I hope this helps.
