Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

I’m not able to connect my devices whether Iphone or Mac air book to printer HpDesktop 2755e though it shows WiFi is connected. What shall I do ?

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

 

Try these steps:

Check Printer Connection:

  • Verify that the printer is properly connected to the Wi-Fi network.
    • Print a Wireless Test Report or a Network Configuration Report to confirm the connection.
      • Press the Information button on your printer to print the report.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart your printer, router, iPhone, and MacBook Air.
    • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
    • Restart your router by disconnecting the power cord for 15 seconds and reconnecting it.
    • Turn off and restart your iPhone and MacBook Air.

Ensure All Devices Are on the Same Network:

  • Make sure your iPhone, MacBook Air, and HP DeskJet 2755e are all connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
    • Check their Wi-Fi settings to confirm they are on the same network.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure the printer firmware is updated to the latest version.
    • Go to HP Support and look for firmware updates for the HP DeskJet 2755e.

Re-install Printer Software on MacBook Air:

Uninstall any previously installed printer software.

  • Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and remove the HP DeskJet 2755e.
  • Go to Applications > HP and run the HP Uninstaller.

Download and install the latest printer software from HP Support.

Install HP Smart App:

On your iPhone:

  • Install the HP Smart app from the App Store.

On your MacBook Air:

Add Printer to HP Smart App:

  • Open the HP Smart app on your iPhone and MacBook Air.
  • Follow the instructions to add your HP DeskJet 2755e to the app.
    • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your devices to help find the printer.
