My scanner has stopped working. It says I need to change the settings, however, I do not remember the username and password for the admin and I am the admin. I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e. Thanks in advance.

Hi @Vlmont ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you've forgotten the username and password for your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e printer, you can try the following steps to reset them:
Default Credentials: Many printers come with default credentials. For HP printers, the default username is often "admin," and the default password left blank. Try entering these credentials.
Look for a Sticker on the Printer: Check the exterior of your printer for a sticker that might display the default login credentials or provide instructions on how to reset them. This information is sometimes located near the control panel or on the bottom of the printer.
Reset to Factory Defaults: If you still can't find the correct credentials, you may need to perform a factory reset on your printer. Keep in mind that this will erase all customized settings. To do this, follow these general steps (the exact steps may vary, so consult your printer manual):
- Power off the printer.
- Press and hold the power button while also pressing the cancel button.
- Keep holding both buttons until the printer turns on, then release the buttons.
- Follow any on-screen instructions to complete the factory reset.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.-
