i cannot connect to the web for my printer. I  am on ink save and it says it cannot read ink levels so I am not receiving ink. which is about to be empty soon.  thank you

Try these steps:

Check Network Settings

  • Ensure your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
  • Verify that your Wi-Fi network is working and other devices can connect to it.

Restart Printer and Router

  • Turn off your printer and router.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds before turning them back on.
  • Allow both devices to fully restart before trying to reconnect the printer to the network.

Use HP Smart App

  • Download and install the HP Smart App on your computer or mobile device from the HP Smart App download page.
  • Open the HP Smart App and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your network.

Printer Network Setup

  • Via Printer Control Panel:
    • Touch the Wireless icon on the printer control panel.
    • Go to Settings and follow the prompts to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
  • Using WPS:
    • Press the WPS button on your router.
    • Within two minutes, press and hold the Wireless button on the printer until the wireless light starts blinking.

Check HP Instant Ink Enrollment

  • Ensure your printer is properly enrolled in the HP Instant Ink program.
  • Verify your enrollment status on the HP Instant Ink website.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Ensure your printer firmware is up-to-date:
    • Go to the HP support page for your printer model.
    • Search for firmware updates and follow the provided instructions to update the printer's firmware.

Check Ink Cartridges

  • Remove and reinsert the ink cartridges to ensure they are properly seated.
  • Check for any error messages on the printer display regarding the ink cartridges.

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor
