HP ENVY 6055 All-In-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I lost my wireless connection.  I reconnected the wireless and I can print documents.  However, I cannot stop the wireless light from blinking and all buttons on the control panel are lit.  Any suggestions?

Hi @SDS1971,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The blinking wireless light on your HP ENVY 6055 All-In-One Printer indicates that the printer is not connected to a wireless network properly or is trying to reconnect. Since you mentioned that you can print documents, the printer might still be partially connected or there could be a glitch. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.

Restart Printer and Router

  1. Turn off your printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the printer.
  3. Turn off your router.
  4. Wait for 60 seconds.
  5. Turn on your router and wait for it to reconnect to the internet.
  6. Plug the power cord back into the printer and turn it on.

Reconnect the Printer to the Wireless Network

  1. On the printer control panel, press the Wireless button and the Information button simultaneously.
  2. Print a Network Configuration Page.
  3. Check the network status and make sure it shows as connected.
  4. If not connected, go through the wireless setup process again using the HP Smart app or the printer’s control panel.

Reset the Printer’s Network Settings

  1. Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button simultaneously until the power button flashes.
  2. The wireless light should start blinking.
  3. Reconnect your printer to the wireless network using the HP Smart app.

Update Printer Firmware

  1. Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  2. Go to the printer settings.
  3. Check for any available firmware updates and install them.

Reinstall the Printer Software

  1. Remove the printer from your computer's list of devices.
  2. Download and install the latest printer software and drivers from the HP Support website.

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor

  1. Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to diagnose and fix any network or connectivity issues.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to perform a factory reset on the printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
