HP Ink Tank Wireless 415
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I still have a persistent problem. I can't connect my printer with my wifi. I used to connect it before however since I changed my router it seems I am having trouble connecting again. (Router is dual band. But I am connecting the printer using the 2.4GHz) I tried the wifi button and X button to hold within 3 seconds just to reset the network. Nothing seems working. All of the advance settings is locked and requiring for a EWS password. This is really stressful.

I even remove the printer in my computer and reconnect again but there is no suprising accomplishment with that.

Can someone help me with this?

@PJHeisenberg, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I see that you are not able to connect the printer to the wireless network.

To connect the printer to your wireless network, refer to - Connecting an HP Printer Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)

  • Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network. This model printer only connects to a 2.4GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.

You may also refer to - HP printer setup (Wi-Fi network)

If the issue persists, I have sent you a private message with a set of instructions to perform a reset. Kindly check the same, this might help you to resolve this issue. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

Hi. Yes, I have a dual band router. But I assigned them a different SSID to make sure I am connecting to 2.4Ghz.
