Hi @SISAY11,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble connecting your HP DeskJet 4100 series printer to your computer, I would request you to please follow the below steps will resolve the issue.

Check Network Connection

  • Ensure that your printer is properly connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer. You can check the connection settings from the printer’s control panel or using the HP Smart App.

Restart Devices

  • Turn off your printer, computer, and router. Wait a few minutes, then turn them back on. This can help reset any network connection issues.

Ensure Printer is Set as Default

  • On your computer, ensure that your HP DeskJet 4100 printer is set as the default printer.

Update Drivers

  • Make sure you have the most current printer drivers installed on your computer. You can download the latest drivers from the HP Software & Drivers page.

Check Wireless Settings

  • Ensure your printer’s wireless settings are correctly configured. This includes checking that the Wi-Fi or wireless light on the printer is on and not blinking, indicating a good connection.

Reinstall the Printer

  • On your computer, remove the printer from Devices and Printers, and then add it again using the ‘Add Printer’ wizard in Windows or macOS.

Take care and have an amazing day!
