I understand your HP printer is showing an “Instant Ink problem” even though your bill is paid. Here are the most effective steps to fix it:

 1. Check Internet Connection

HP Instant Ink requires your printer to be connected to the internet to verify ink status and billing.

  • Make sure your printer is online.
  • If using Wi-Fi, reconnect it via the HP Smart app or printer control panel.


2. Reinsert Instant Ink Cartridges

Sometimes the cartridges lose contact with the printer.

Steps:

  1. Turn on the printer.
  2. Open the cartridge access door.
  3. Remove and reinsert each cartridge firmly.
  4. Close the door and wait for the printer to initialize.
