Hi @Dee368,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you need the PIN number for your HP-2622 inkjet printer, it is usually required for connecting the printer to a wireless network. Here are a few ways you might be able to find or reset it:

Look on the Printer: The PIN for wireless setup (Wi-Fi Protected Setup, WPS PIN) is sometimes printed on a label on the printer itself. Check the back, bottom, or inside the ink cartridge door.

Printer's Control Panel or Screen: If your printer has a screen, you might be able to navigate through the menus to find the wireless settings or network setup options. The WPS PIN might be displayed as part of these settings.

Printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS):

  • Connect your printer to the computer using a USB cable or get it connected to your network temporarily via Ethernet.
  • Print a network configuration page from the printer’s control panel. This page typically includes the printer's IP address.
  • Enter the IP address into a web browser on a computer that’s on the same network. This opens the printer's Embedded Web Server.
  • Navigate to the wireless settings to find or reset the wireless PIN.

HP Smart App: If you have the HP Smart app installed on your computer or smartphone, you might be able to access the printer’s network settings and find the WPS PIN.

Manual or Documentation: If you can locate any of the documentation that came with your printer, the default PIN might be listed. Sometimes this is also available online at HP’s website in the form of a digital manual or FAQ.

Reset Printer Settings: If all else fails, you can try resetting your printer to its factory default settings, which might reset the PIN to a default number provided in your printer’s manual.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
