Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

On the front panel of my printer, or the LCD screen on the printer where it is touch screen and you can hit certain settings and functions such as "Copy, Scan, Photo, etc", they no longer work. They were working just fine before this new update, where it forces us users to have to us the "HP Smart" App. I was just fine with the HP Easy Scan app. The HP Smart scan app works. I can do all I need to do from the HP Smart app, however, I was use to using my scanner by simply hitting "Scan" on the front panel and then "Scan to Computer" and then...boom! Scanning started and went straight to easy scan app on my computer. Now this feature doesn't work. So can someone help me figure out why?
