Hi @THOR345,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error message you're encountering on your HP Officejet Pro 8610 indicates an issue with the printer or ink system. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem.

  1. Restart the Printer:

    • Turn off the printer.
    • Wait for a few minutes.
    • Turn the printer back on.
  2. Check for Obstructions:

    • Make sure there are no obstructions in the printer, such as paper jams or foreign objects.
  3. Check Ink Levels:

    • Ensure that your ink cartridges have sufficient ink. If the ink levels are low, replace the cartridges.
  4. Reseat the Ink Cartridges:

    • Turn off the printer.
    • Open the printer cover and carefully remove the ink cartridges.
    • Reinstall the cartridges securely and close the cover.
    • Turn the printer back on.
  5. Update Firmware/Drivers:

    • Make sure your printer's firmware and drivers are up to date. Visit the HP support website to download and install the latest firmware and drivers for your printer model.
  6. Perform a Power Reset:

    • Turn off the printer.
    • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
    • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
    • Reconnect the power cord and turn the printer back on.
  7. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

    • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor, a diagnostic tool provided by HP. It can help identify and fix common printing problems.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
