I have an HP m28w printer. We have moved the printer to a new network and cannot connect it. I think I need to get the printer to re-enter HP Setup mode but I don't know how to do this. It currently displays wifi network DIRECT-41-HP M28 LaserJet.

Hi,

make sure there is no USB cable connected to the printer, and that the printer is ready with a solid power light (Press any key to wake up the printer from sleep if it blinks)

Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for approx. 20 seconds, do not release the button till the Attention light ( i ) starts blinking and allow the printer to restart.

Make sure your device is connected to your Home Wi-Fi and that you can now see HP-Setup in the nearby Wi-Fi list, if it is not listed ensure the wireless light is blinking on the printer, shortly press the Wireless button to turn if on if it is off and check the list again.

Now follow the steps on screen by following HP Easy Start, you will be given with the option to connect the printer first:

As soon as HP Easy start prompts to install HP Smart, close HP Easy Start and press the Skip to Software Download button, then follow the steps on screen to complete the installation and check for any difference.
