HI @DebWesty,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand you need help setting up Wi-Fi and connecting your printer. Let’s go through a few steps to get it connected properly.

Check the Wi-Fi network
Make sure your Wi-Fi is working and you know the correct network name (SSID) and password.
Place the printer close to the router during setup.

Restart the printer and router
Turn off the printer and unplug the router for about 30 seconds.
Power them back on to clear any temporary network issues.

Put the printer into Wi-Fi setup mode
On the printer control panel, restore network or wireless settings (this varies by model).
The wireless light should blink blue, indicating the printer is ready to connect.

Install or open HP Smart app
Download and open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
The app will automatically search for the printer and guide you through Wi-Fi setup.

Connect the printer to Wi-Fi
Select your Wi-Fi network when prompted in the HP Smart app.
Enter the Wi-Fi password carefully and wait for the confirmation message.

Confirm the connection
Check that the wireless light on the printer is solid blue.
Print a test page from the HP Smart app to verify the connection.

Reconnect devices if needed
Make sure your computer or phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.
This ensures smooth printing and scanning over Wi-Fi.

I hope this helps.
