Common problems for Connectivity Issues

I need help to connect my printer to another wifi router, different than the previous one. I need help I'm completely out of my depth here.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you want to connect the printer to the new router, I am glad to assist you.

Restore network settings to default settings

You can restore wireless settings to default, and then reset up the wireless connection between the printer and your device.

1. If the printer is in Sleep mode (the Ready light is on but dim), press the Resume/Cancel button to wake up the printer. 
2. Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer control panel for more than 20 seconds. When the Attention light starts blinking, release the Wireless button.

3. The printer restarts automatically. When the Wireless light starts blinking, the printer is in wireless setup mode. You can now reset up a wireless connection between the printer and your device

 

Connect the printer to the new router using the HP Smart app
