Product: HP DeskJet 2636 All-in-One Printer

I am trying to connect my printer to either my mobile device or my laptop. When trying to connect my printer to my laptop it is asking for the WPS PIN which I can not find. With my mobile device it is just not finding it at all. On my account the printer is already there. I just need help getting it reconnected.

Hi, I had the same problem and after ages with the chat bot, I found it.  You have to Check your model, but on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8100e Series, (I Imagine all models have a variation of this,) do the following

 

1. Open the front panel, which drops down on mine.

2.  Lift up where the blue strip shows to lift the all in one scan / fax  unit.

3.  The HP model info shows directly above the installed cartridges.  The PIN code is just before the Qcode.  

 

I took a photo and also wrote the code on a paper that I keep my critical HP Printer documents in.
