I have an HP8730 connected to an ethernet router. I have tried all suggestions (reboot, turned off and on, changed cables, restarted modem and router), but still cannot connect to my printer. When I ping my printers IP address I get the response that printer is not available. I cannot reload the drivers because my PC cannot find the IP address or printer. The router and the printer display the IP address, but I just cannot get connected. My PC and printer are on the same network. My routers admin page shows the same IP address that the printer does.

What IP is shown for your printer?
Please be sure to restore the network settings of the printer, if your printer may have a custom IP Address set for your old network it can cause any such behavior
See 'Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on most HP printers > Printers with a touchscreen display' below to restore the network settings for your printer, then check for any difference:
