Spoiler
Early in the week at about 1:00 am while I was in bed I heard the printer making noises and display screen was lit up. It's done that few times before thought nothing of it. I think a day or two later it was making noises again. A few days later I needed to print something, it didn't work then I noticed the display on the printer flashed WiFi not connected, but the blue light is on and the router indicates it's connect. Then the printer worked. I've notice about every minute or so when the display is on it will flash Internet not available or WiFi not connected. The next day I needed to print something again. It eventually printed but there was a delay as there was the day before. This all started after the update. The printer is connected and I'm not having any problems with my other devices. I restarted the printer that didn't correct the problem. This morning I printed something and it printed right away without delay, but it's still flashes not connected. I went in the printer menu just now and selected Info, then connectivity and it show connected, excellent signal, then it showed not connected. I'm confused what's going on. I have another HP printer 14 years old on the same router, and it's not having connecting issues. My problem started on my 9135e after an update early in the week. What's going on with my printer?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Can check what's the firmware version of the printer?

Can we try these steps to try and resolve the issue?

1.  Reset Wireless to defaults:

2. Connect to Wireless network via Control Panel:

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I watched the first video to reset network settings. I tried to reconfigure. It started to search for available routers and nothing showed up on the screen, so now I worse off than before. Why are no routers showing up?

After several attempts to search for routers, and nothing showed up, I shut down the printer, restarted it and tried it again then it worked and I was able to connect. I will have to wait to see if I will still get the not connected message, but in the last few minutes since I connected it seems to be stable.
