HP DeskJet 2852e All-in-One Printer

So I am beyond disgusted with the treatment given to me and my situation. Let me give the backstory!

2 months ago i purchased a new HPDeskjet 2852E which is wifi only no hardwire option. It worked fine for 1 month hooked up to my labtop and computer but then the issues came. 1 month ago i upgraded my internet to 5G with new 5G modems and immediately the problem arose "Printer Offline please turn it on and try again. Well i spent weeks trouble shooting it using every single avenue possible with no luck. I was about to go buy a new one but gave it one last try today and I came across the phone number to connect with live support agent from HP!! awesome i thought. Well turns out no so much.. i explained i trie everything nothing worked and so the agent asked to connect to me via video call to see my computer and laptop. We spent 15-20 minutes trying to troubleshoot it until the agent noticed my routers and they went silent.. i asked if there were still there and then again 30 seconds later is when they came back to the phone and told me that the printer does not have the technology to connect to 5g or 6g therefore thats why i had been unable to make the thing connect ever since the day i upgraded my network..

Well here is the rub, HP does not state this anywhere upon the product when purchasing it!! simply states it hooks right up to wifi no issues very easy.. well that was probably the case years ago but technology changes at a rapid rate and so i asked how are we going to remedy this since i just purchased this printer 2 months ago! i explained i dont want a refund i will take an exchange for a model that can connect to 5g and guess what i was told... sorry but thats not something we can offer... so long story short HP is scamming and robbing customers  knowing of this issue clearly and not making any noticing to buyers because im sure they have a hefty investment to atleast sell all these obsolete printers while they still can to recoop their potential massive loss.. maybe i will go to my lawyer to see if he will help me since HP told me basically **bleep** off youre on your own thanks for your money suckaaa

The printer supports hardwire USB connection and 2,4GHz wireless band.

You can find that details in the printers specifications.

@T3rb0,

I am sorry this happened to you, but in all fairness as @Valsimot commented, the HP DeskJet 2852e All-in-One Printer User Guide clearly states, and I quote: "Connect the printer to a Wi-Fi network using HP Smart software. This printer only supports 2.4 GHz networks."

You cannot blame HP for something that they clearly included in their product documentation.

Kind Regards,
