Hi @forgetmeno,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP ENVY 5052 All-In-One Printer is connected to the internet but you're having trouble enrolling in HP Instant Ink, you can try the following steps.

  • Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your printer has a stable internet connection. You can print a network configuration page from your printer's settings to verify this.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Make sure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for firmware updates via the printer's control panel or through the HP Smart app.
  • Restart Printer and Router: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source. Also, restart your router. After a few minutes, plug the printer back in and turn it on.
  • HP Smart App: Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device. Ensure that your printer is added to the app. If it is, try to enroll in HP Instant Ink through the app.
  • Clear Printer Queue: If there are any pending print jobs, clear them to ensure they are not causing any interference with the enrollment process.
  • Check HP Instant Ink Website: Go to the HP Instant Ink website and log in to your account. Make sure there are no issues with your account or subscription that could be causing the problem.
  • Manual Enrollment: If automatic enrollment fails, you can manually enroll your printer by visiting the HP Instant Ink enrollment page and following the instructions for your specific printer model.
  • Printer Settings: Ensure that the printer's settings are correctly configured for web services. You might need to enable web services from the printer's control panel.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
