Hi. I'm getting the yellow triangle with the exclamation mark telling me the IP address is not connected. I was going to re-setup my printer but when I choose that, the display informs me that it is blocked. What do I need to do to re-establish my wi-fi connectivity? Thanks.
My printer is an HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e

Hi @slddds ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like you're experiencing connectivity issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e printer. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and re-establish the Wi-Fi connection:
Restart your Printer:
- Turn off your printer, wait for about 10 seconds, and then turn it back on. This simple step can often resolve temporary connectivity issues.
Check Wi-Fi Connection:
- Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is working properly and that other devices can connect to it. If there are issues with your Wi-Fi, address them first.
Reboot Your Router:
- Sometimes, routers can have issues that affect connected devices. Try rebooting your Wi-Fi router by turning it off, waiting for about 30 seconds, and then turning it back on.
Check Network Settings on the Printer:
- On the printer's control panel, navigate to the network or wireless settings. Ensure that the Wi-Fi is enabled and that the printer is connected to the correct network.
Forget and Reconnect to Wi-Fi:
- On the printer, navigate to the wireless settings, find your Wi-Fi network, and select it. Choose the option to forget the network and then reconnect by entering your Wi-Fi password.
Update Firmware:
- Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware. Check the HP website for any firmware updates related to connectivity and follow the instructions to update if needed.
Factory Reset:
- As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset on your printer. Keep in mind that this will reset all settings, and you'll need to set up the printer again from scratch.
- On the printer's control panel, go to Settings > Tools > Restore Defaults.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
