"Not applicable", depending on where you are seeing this message, might mean the printer is attached to the computer / device using a USB printer cable.
USB connected device does not have an IP address - Only networks use IP address assignment.
If the printer is supposed to be connected to your network and it is not connected, this message might apply.

Check the network configuration or print the wireless test report to assist in diagnosing network
connection issues.

1. From the Home screen, touch the Wireless icon, and then touch Settings.
2. Touch the down arrow to scroll through options. Touch Display Network Configuration or Print
Wireless Test Report.
