Common problems for Connectivity Issues

I unenrolled in instant ink, and installed new non-instant ink cartridges, but I cannot get my phone or computer to connect to the Direct-print instructions given.

Wat you did so far is correct: I do not have an instant ink printer. My understanding is that if you run out of ink, or you cancel your subscription, you can use genuine Hewlett Packard cartridges either original or refilled. They must have an HP chip in the cartridge.  But:  While HP Instant Ink printers can be used with no subscription, select HP Plus printers may require a subscription to operate.

Please provide the exact model name of the printer for better assistance as I may be able to find videos to show how to connect or fix the problem. A printer can be a PRO or a PLUS or have the letter 'e' after the number and that can make a big difference. Some printers with the same number ID could be a LaserJet, Deskjet, or Officejet.
