Product: HP Jetdirect 3100w BLE/NFC/Wireless Accessory
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
I am trying to install a HP JetDirect 3100w on my Color LaserJet Enterprise M553dn printer. According to the JetDirect 3100w user manual, it is just a plug and play installation. Unfortunately, after plugging it in and rebooting the M553dn printer, the printer display informs me that an "Invalid USB device is attached. Please remove..." During troubleshooting, I also upgraded the firmware to the latest version per the installation instructions:
Firmware Revision: 2309110_002028
Date Code: 20240322
What else needs to be done to complete the JetDirect installation so I may use my M553dn wirelessly?
