Product: HP DeskJet 2952 All-in-One Printer

Unable to connect new Deskjet 2952 to internet. Tried all suggestions from chat. Multiple attempts to get help from live agent with no help, calls dropped, cut off.

I understand that you are unable to connect your new HP DeskJet 2952 to the internet and have already tried several troubleshooting suggestions.

 

To narrow this down, could you please confirm:

  • Are you setting up the printer using a Windows PC, Mac, Android, or iPhone/iPad?
  • Is the printer visible in the HP app, or is it not being detected at all?
  • What happens when you try to connect it to Wi-Fi? Please provide the exact error/message if one appears.
  • Is the printer's Wi-Fi light blinking, solid, or off?
  • Are other devices able to connect to the same Wi-Fi network normally?

 

Once we know where the connection is failing, we can avoid repeating the troubleshooting you have already tried.

 

As a basic check, you can then try:

  • Make sure the device you are using for setup is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer to use.
  • Restart the printer and your router.
  • If the printer is not being detected, restore the printer's Wi-Fi setup mode and try adding it again through the HP app.

Please provide the details above, especially the exact message shown during setup, and we can continue from there.
