Hi @Loki250,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP ENVY 6020e All-in-One Printer isn't connecting to your Wi-Fi network despite pressing the WPS button on your router,
here are some steps you can try:
Ensure WPS Compatibility:
- Confirm that your router supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup). If it doesn’t, the WPS method won’t work.
Reset Network Settings on Printer:
- Go to the printer’s settings menu (typically found under "Setup" or "Network").
- Look for an option to "Reset Network Settings" or "Restore Network Defaults." This will clear any previous network settings and let you start fresh.
Reboot Your Devices:
- Turn off your printer, router, and any other network devices.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Turn on your router first, then wait for it to fully start up.
- Turn on your printer.
Check WPS Procedure:
- Press the WPS button on your router and within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your printer (or select WPS from the printer’s control panel).
Manual Wireless Setup:
- If WPS doesn’t work, you can try connecting manually:
- On the printer’s control panel, go to the wireless settings and select the option to set up a wireless connection.
- Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter your Wi-Fi password.
Firmware Update: Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Make sure your router’s firmware is up to date. Sometimes, an outdated firmware version can cause connection issues.
Printer Firmware Update:
- Check if there’s a firmware update available for your printer and apply it if necessary. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.
Router Settings:
- Ensure that your router’s settings allow new devices to connect. Check for any MAC address filtering or network security settings that might be blocking the printer.
