I use the print anywhere feature. My printer is hooked up to my computer. I assumed the printer would power on as needed, like when I print from my cellphone,but it looks like it's on all the time.The lights never go off,even though my computer isn't on.Is that how it's supposed to be

The front light bar supposed to remain on during sleep, however you may control its brightness by following page 16 of its user guide:
