Product: HP M211dw
Operating System: Other

Objective: print from AIX Command Line to M211dw(9YF83A)  printer

Issue: M211 printer does not accept and spool the job. M428(W1A28) spools job immediately.

 

When network admin checks seems the printer is resetting the connection without saying it failed

 

Other models used that work fine M201dw and M203dn

M221 is host based printer, while M203 supports PCL print language, probably printing from the command line requires PCL that M221 doesn't understand
