HP DeskJet 3762 All-in-One Printer

HI THERE

I have my WiFi set up so that the tv can use and the Nintendo without the need of disconnecting  then connecting the decive you want to use?

My issue is this:  I use my ipad 10 and every time i print to my printer i have to disconnect from the SKY internet and manual connect to the printer in order for me to print?

And then when I’ve done printing then I change the WiFi back to the router?

Am i asking to much to just be able to click print and away it goes?

Any ideas?

Hi @Yumzone,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

No worries, getting your printer to stay connected to your Wi-Fi network shouldn't be too complicated. First off, ensure that your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPad and your other devices. Most modern printers have Wi-Fi connectivity options in their settings where you can select your home network and enter the password.

Once your printer is connected to your Wi-Fi network, you shouldn't need to manually switch networks every time you want to print. However, if you're still experiencing issues, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

Check Wi-Fi Signal Strength: Make sure that your printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router and that the signal strength is strong enough for a stable connection.

Printer Firmware Update: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Sometimes, updating the printer's firmware can resolve connectivity issues.

Restart Devices: Sometimes, a simple restart of both your printer and your iPad can resolve connectivity issues.

Static IP Address: Assign a static IP address to your printer. This ensures that the IP address of your printer remains constant, which can help prevent connection issues.

Printer App: Some printers have companion apps that allow you to print directly from your iPad without needing to switch networks. Check if your printer has a dedicated app and try using it to print.

Network Settings: Double-check the network settings on your iPad to ensure that it's connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and that there are no conflicting settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
