Purchased my HP ENVY 6458e printer awhile back. Maybe a year old barely used if at all. Initially had the printer set up at my office but it collected dust and Im not even sure if I set it up there. I moved it back to my apartment and cant get it to connect to the wifi. I can't find the printer in the HP Smart app, but from the settings in my laptop and phone I can see the printer is sending out it's own wifi signal that I do not have the password for.
I have tried pressing numerous buttons and holding them down for 3 seconds but I can't seem to print out the network configuration page (many experts on here have said to use this alternative to find the password for said printer wifi). Nada. Ive tried plugging and unplugging, waiting 10, 15, 30 minutes at a time. Nothing. I cant even set up an ethernet cord for this to connect to my wifi directly because it uses some strange USB cable as a hardwired internet source. The adapter for an ethernet to the usb on the printer is like $50 best case scenario, what?! The app even tells you to use ethernet as a failsafe if wireless connection doesn't work... it doesn't even come with an ethernet port! Can I please get some assistance?

Bumping my desperate cry for help. My printer is sad, full of unprintable paper, and devoid of life. I put on Pursuit of Happiness on my tv to get it's spirits up to start printing again, but not even Will Smith could slap it back into shape. It needs help that I can't give it. HP Gods, please show mercy and revive this young printer that never had a chance to showcase it's true potential.
