The printer does not show up in the laptop's "Printers and devices" menu. Both the printer and the laptop are connected to the same network.

@JeCouture, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer Connectivity Issues!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your JeCouture laptop cannot detect the printer on the network, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Ensure Network Connectivity:
- Verify that both the printer and laptop are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Check for any network connection issues in both the printer and laptop settings.
Add the Printer Manually:
- On your laptop, go to "Settings" > "Devices" > "Printers & Scanners."
- Click "Add a printer or scanner," and wait for Windows to detect available printers. If your printer doesn't appear, select "The printer that I want isn't listed," and follow the on-screen instructions.
Use the Printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS):
- Enter the printer's IP address in a web browser to access its Embedded Web Server (EWS).
- Check the wireless settings to ensure the printer is properly connected to the network.
Check Printer Driver Installation:
- Ensure that you have installed the correct driver for your printer model. Visit the HP support website to download and install the latest driver.
Restart Devices:
- Restart both the printer and the laptop to refresh the network connections.
Network Troubleshooting:
- Run the "Network Troubleshooter" on your laptop by right-clicking on the network icon in the taskbar and selecting "Troubleshoot problems."
Firewall and Security Software:
- Ensure that firewall or security software is not blocking the connection to your printer.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
