Hi @MarkWR2,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're unable to connect your HP LaserJet M15w to your MacBook after switching to a new router, you can follow these steps to troubleshoot the connection.
Check Printer and Router Connections:
- Ensure that your printer is powered on.
- Confirm that your new router is working and the Wi-Fi network is active.
Connect Printer to Wi-Fi:
- Via the Printer's Control Panel:
- Press the Wireless button on the printer (or use the printer's control panel) to activate wireless setup mode.
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the wireless light starts blinking.
- Go to the Wi-Fi settings on your MacBook and connect it to the same Wi-Fi network as your new router.
- On the printer, select your network name (SSID) and enter the password if prompted. The printer should now connect to your new Wi-Fi network.
- Using HP Smart App:
- Download and install the HP Smart app on your MacBook if you haven't already.
- Open the app, select Set Up a New Printer, and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi.
Update Printer Settings:
- Once connected to the Wi-Fi network, try adding the printer to your MacBook.
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Click the + sign and select your printer from the list to add it.
Test Connection:
- Try printing a test page to verify the connection.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
