Product: HP LaserJet Pro M227
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a customer who owns the M227, and Gmail recently (May 31st) removed the option for "less secure apps".  Since he was using that account to scan to email, it no longer works.  I have contacted their company web person, who also handles the email domain.  His question is what version of TLS is used by the printer to send, as his email server requires TLS 1.2 or 1.3.  This employee, who is using the M227, is a remote worker and now lives 2 hours from me.  I did help him install the latest firmware, hoping that it would resolve the issue - it did not.  Is there some setting in the web management page of the printer to see the setting for the email security?  No matter what SMTP port we use and which boxes are checked, the error message "invalid user ID or password" appears.
