Hi @jrwusch,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To connect your HP LaserJet Pro M15w printer to a new Wi-Fi network, you can follow these steps.
-
Make sure your printer is in setup mode:
- Turn on the printer.
- Press and hold the Cancel (X) button for about 5 seconds until the Attention light blinks.
-
Connect the printer to Wi-Fi:
- On your computer or mobile device, go to the Wi-Fi settings.
- Look for a network name that starts with "HP-Setup" followed by a series of numbers and letters. Connect to this network.
-
Access the printer's embedded web server:
- Open a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, or Safari) on your computer or mobile device.
- In the address bar, enter the following: http://192.168.223.1/ and press Enter.
-
Configure Wi-Fi settings:
- You should now be on the printer's web interface. Click on "Network" or "Wireless" (the wording may vary depending on your printer's firmware).
- Select "Wireless Setup Wizard" or a similar option.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to select your new Wi-Fi network and enter the Wi-Fi password. Make sure to double-check the information for accuracy.
-
Complete the setup:
- After entering your new Wi-Fi credentials, the printer will attempt to connect to the new network. Once it's successfully connected, the printer's web interface may show a message indicating that it's connected.
-
Return to your regular Wi-Fi network:
- Go back to your computer or mobile device's Wi-Fi settings and reconnect to your normal Wi-Fi network (the one you want the printer to be on).
-
Test the connection:
- After connecting your computer or mobile device to the correct Wi-Fi network, try printing a test page to ensure that the printer is working correctly on the new network.
Your HP LaserJet Pro M15w printer should now be successfully connected to your new Wi-Fi network.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
