Microsoft Windows 11

Hi!

All of a sudden my iPhone has lost the ability to find an airprinter.

So i have read up on my printer a bit. The blue light should light with a stedy light not blinking.

I've tried everything i can come up with but i fail to connect it to my home wifi.

The thing is that the printer should be on the same wifi herz and my iphone is on 5 gz. When i try to change to 2.5 gz wifi on my phone i can not even connect it to it.

SO what and how can i fix this?

I've the latest drivers and was trying to install it again with the cable and to get the question about installing the wifi but i did not. Maybe because of it was already installed...

Hello @ToddeSwe1, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the HP LaserJet P1102w printer

We appreciate the opportunity to assist you and are glad we could help work toward a resolution. We hope our support has been valuable.

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please try a few troubleshooting steps provided below so that I can assist you further?

Troubleshoot the wireless printer connection

Check network issues and setup requirements if the printer is not found during software installs or when wireless print jobs fail.

  • Poor network connection: Move the printer and computer or mobile device closer to the wireless router and then check if the signal quality improved. Try opening a website to see if the internet connection is working properly. If Wi-Fi is slow or intermittent, restart the router by disconnecting the power cord, waiting 15 seconds, and then reconnecting the cord.
  • Printer is off or in sleep mode: Touch the control panel or press the Power button to wake the printer and put it in a ready state. Sometimes the printer status might display Offline when it is actually ready.
  • Check the printer connection status: Make sure the wireless signal is on, and the printer is connected to the same network as your computer or mobile device. If your printer has a light next to a Wireless icon or button , make sure the light is on. If it is off or blinks, the printer is disconnected from the network.
  • Reconnect the printer to the network: Place the printer within range of the Wi-Fi router signal and then connect it to the network.
  1. Printers with a touchscreen control panel: Open the Setup, Network, or Wireless settings menu, select Wireless Setup Wizard, and then follow the instructions to select the network name and enter the password.
  2. Printers without a touchscreen control panel: Press and hold the Wireless button for five seconds or until the wireless light starts to flash. Within two minutes, press and hold the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button on the router until the connection process begins. The printer Wireless light stops flashing when the connection completes.
  • Restart devices: Restart the printer and the computer or mobile device to clear possible error conditions.
  • Print a Wireless Test Report: Search the HP Customer Support website for your printer model and then search for self-test page to find the document on how to print and evaluate the report.
  • Enable Wi-Fi setup mode: When you turn on your printer for the first time, it is temporarily placed in Wi-Fi setup mode so that it can be discovered during setup. Use the printer control panel to restore Wi-Fi setup mode and then set up the printer again.
  • Enable Bluetooth for an HP app setup: Enable Bluetooth on your computer or mobile device so that HP app can detect the printer during the setup.
  • Wireless isolation could be causing your printer to appear offline. Check with your router manufacturer for more information.

Enable AirPrint from the HP app

On your computer or mobile device, use the HP app to check for and enable AirPrint on your printer.

  • Open the HP app, and then create an account or sign in. If you do not have the app, download it from 123.hp.com or your app store.
  • On the app home screen, click your printer's name or image.
  • Click Advanced Settings, or scroll to Printer Settings and click View all, and then click Advanced Settings.
  • Select Network and then look for AirPrint.
  1. If AirPrint does not display, your printer does not support it. Use an alternate method to print, such as Wi-Fi Direct.
  2. If AirPrint displays, select it, and then select Status.
  • If you are prompted to go to a secure HTTPS-enabled webpage, select OK or Redirect to HTTPS.
  • If a connection is not private message displays, select Advanced or Show Details, and then select Proceed to 192.168.x.xx or visit this website.
  • Under AirPrint Status, select Turn on AirPrint.

Take care and have an amazing day!
