I am trying to connect my printer to my internet. It worked months ago but stopped, perhaps after I upgraded the iOS on my iPhone to version 26.1? I do everything on my iPhone and don’t have a local Windows computer.

Hi @LDawson369,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP LaserJet printer has stopped connecting to your internet connection. There are several steps you can take to resolve this issue, especially if you primarily use an iPhone:

Check Wireless Settings:

  • Ensure that your printer is within range of your wireless router. Sometimes, printers might lose connectivity if they're placed too far from the router.
  • Check that your wireless network is up and running without any issues.

Verify Network Credentials:

  • Double-check the network name (SSID) and password to ensure they are correct. It's possible that these credentials changed after a network update.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. You can access the https://support.hp.com/us-en for your printer model from HP to download any available updates. This can often be done directly from your printer's interface if it supports wireless updates.

Restart Printer and Router:

  • A simple restart of both your printer and router may resolve connectivity issues. Turn off your printer, unplug your router, wait a minute, then plug the router back in and wait for the network to come up fully. After this, power on your printer.

Reconfigure Wireless Setup:

  • Use the printer's control panel to reconfigure the wireless setup. Look for a "Wireless Setup Wizard" option on the printer's interface.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to select your network and enter the network password.

Use the HP App:

Check for iOS Compatibility:

  • Ensure that the version of the HP App on your iPhone is compatible with your iOS 26.1 update. If there are updates available for the app, make sure to install them.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
