Laserjet 127nfw MFP
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've had this printer for 10+ yrs.  Until the other day it was printing and scanning wirelessly without problem.  Suddenly it stopped doing so. My computer and the printer are both connected to the same network when I check each one separately, but my computer says the printer is off line.  I uninstalled the printer and tried to reinstall the product  using the software/driver package downloaded form HP.  No go-- the installation software says Network Product Not Found.  I tried inputting the IP address of the printer to search specifically for the device with that address, and I turned off the Firewall.  Still didn't work.  Does anyone have any ideas to get the printer back on line.  Thank you.

@joebotts, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

If the computer is not detecting the printer using its IP address, then this is a connectivity issue.

Restart the router, the printer, and the PC

Try printing. If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.

On the printer screen, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore network settings

Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network.

  • Make sure the printer and the Mac are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.

Now, try printing.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
