Hi @Siddhivinayak1

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thank you for explaining the situation. It sounds incredibly frustrating when your HP Ink Tank Wireless 419 printer shows signs of power—like the lights turning on—but the screen remains completely off

Let’s go through a clear and professional set of steps to help isolate the issue, especially since it could be related to a logic board malfunction.

Step-by-Step Guidance to Troubleshoot the Issue

1. Perform a Basic Power Reset

This can sometimes help clear internal errors:

Disconnect the printer’s power cable from both the wall outlet and the printer.

Wait for at least 60 seconds.

Plug it back in directly to a working wall outlet (avoid extension cords or power strips for this test).

Observe whether the screen responds during startup.

2. Check for Button Responses

After reconnecting power, press the Power button firmly.

Watch for any change in light behavior (blinking, fading, etc.).

If the lights remain static and the screen is blank, it indicates a failure in the printer's initialization process.

3. Inspect for Physical Damage

Ensure there are no signs of ink leaks or moisture near the control panel, as this can affect logic board function.

Look around the USB or power port area for any signs of burns or smell, which may indicate an electrical fault.

4. Check HP Smart App or Embedded Web Server (if on Wi-Fi)

If your printer was previously connected to Wi-Fi:

Open the HP Smart App on your computer or mobile device.

See if the printer is detected on the network.

If it's visible but unresponsive, it adds further evidence of a logic board issue.

Given the symptoms you’ve described—lights on, screen completely off, no response—the issue may likely lie with the printer’s logic board or display board. Unfortunately, these components cannot be reset or repaired through software and usually require replacement or servicing.
