Product: HP Envy Photo 7975 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
On a daily basis I have to delete network setting on my printer and set up wireless to my network again. This is the only way I can get my laptop to recognize my printer or even print a test page. It is not just on my laptop but not working on my other laptop nor on my desktop. This all started after getting the Eeros nest for my Frontier/Verizon 1G service.

Hi @TampaPirate,
Mesh systems like eero often change the printer's IP address or move it between nodes, so the laptop loses track of it every day.
- In the eero app, go to Devices > your printer > Advanced > Reserve IP, so the printer always keeps the same address.
- Update the printer firmware from its control panel or the HP app.
- On the laptop, remove the printer and add it again once the IP is reserved (Settings > Printers & scanners > Add device, or by IP address).
- If it still drops, place the printer closer to one eero node and make sure the network isn't using WPA3-only security (WPA2/WPA3 mixed is more compatible).
Please share your printer model if it keeps happening.
