My all in one printer has started to say lost connection. When I press connect on the display panel it cancels the print job.
Printer is Connected to the WiFi according to the display panel, and it receives the print job sent over the same WiFi, it just won't actually print them
I have powered off the router and printer but still the same. Doesn't matter what device I send the print job on, result is the same.
Display panel states printer software is up to date.

Hi Garp
I hope you received my previous reply, I had tried mist if what you listed, WhatsApp tech could not resolve and advised they thought it was a server error. Local tech took control remotely and the printer is now working but they have no idea how)why!! Their take was the latest update had lagged but I cannot see how it could take days!
Many thanks
Bob

@Bob7001, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
I understand how frustrating it can be when the printer shows it’s connected to Wi-Fi but doesn’t actually print. Let’s work through steps to resolve this.
Confirm Printer is Truly Connected to Wi-Fi
On the printer display panel, go to Network/Wireless settings and check the Wi-Fi connection status.
Print a Network Configuration Page to verify that the IP address matches the subnet of your router.
Restart Devices Properly
Power off the printer and router.
Unplug them for 1–2 minutes, then power them back on.
Wait until the printer shows Ready before sending a new print job.
Check Printer Queue
On your computer or mobile device, open the print queue.
Cancel all pending jobs.
Try printing a single test page to see if it goes through.
Re-add Printer on Devices
Remove the printer from your computers or mobile devices.
Add it again using HP app or the system’s native print dialog to ensure a fresh connection.
Check for IP Address Conflicts
Ensure the printer has a static IP or reserve its IP in your router’s DHCP settings.
This prevents the router from assigning a new IP that could cause connection issues.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
