@BobbyJ_Hunter, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you restore the Wi-Fi connection on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 All-in-One Printer and get back to printing from your computer and iPhone:

Restart All Devices

Power cycling can often resolve temporary connectivity issues:

  • Turn off your printer, router, and computer/mobile device.
  • Unplug the printer and router from the power source for 30 seconds.
  • Plug them back in and turn everything on.

Check Printer’s Wi-Fi Status

  • Look at the Wireless light on the printer’s control panel:
    • Solid blue = Connected
    • Blinking or off = Not connected

If it's not connected, proceed to the next step.

Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode

This allows the printer to reconnect to your network:

  • On the printer control panel, press the Wireless button and Cancel button together for 3 seconds.
  • This will reset the wireless settings and enable Wi-Fi setup mode (light should start blinking blue).

Reconnect Using HP Smart App

  • Download or open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  • Tap “+” to add a new printer.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Print a Wireless Network Test Report

To confirm the connection:

  • From the printer control panel, go to Settings > Network Setup > Wireless Settings > Print Reports > Wireless Test Report.

For iPhone Printing

Once the printer is connected to Wi-Fi:

  • Ensure your iPhone is on the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Use AirPrint or the HP Smart app to print.
