Hi @frank324 ,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

Make sure you use admin (all lower case) among the PIN, also try a password you may set for the printer, as well as your wireless password which may been set as an Admin Password by taking the wrong steps.

If none is working, try following 'To restore the printer to the original factory defaults' and check for any difference then:

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06584213.pdf

Following restoring the defaults, make sure you are connected to your home network, open HP Smart and click the Plus sign, then Add Printer and follow the steps to reconnect the printer to your wireless network.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
