Lower third of page solid black on Android prints but not Windows prints

I have an older HP LaserJet P2055DN. It's connected to using only ethernet to my network. It will print just fine from computers but when I try to use my Samsung phone print over Wi-Fi the lower section of the print comes out solid black. Sometimes it's just a narrow bar of black only a few centimeters tall and sometimes it's much taller.

I am using the HP print service installed from the Android app store.

What can I do to correct this problem?
