Message says "

Unable to connect to ‘HP ENVY 5000 series [BA1264]._ipps._tcp.local.’ due to an error. Would you still like to create the printer?

How do I resolve this please?

To assist better -

 

  1. What is the mac version on your computer?
  2. How is the printer connected to the device USB or wireless?
  3. What is the status of the wireless light on the printer, steady or blinking?
  4. I would like to know, is your router set to work on 2.4 GHz network or 5 GHz network band?
  5. Is there antivirus software installed on your Mac?
