Product: HP DeskJet 2752e All-in-One Printer

I contacted HP support via chat when I had a problem with my computer/printer connectivity. They had a technician call me back, he offered me a support plan for 2, 4, years or a lifetime. While the tech DID help me resolve my issues, I am wondering if the company is legit, Metaverse - Techs, LLC.  Can anyone help with me this issue?

Last Sunday after I was unable to connect to my HP printer I contacted HP Tech Support by phone.  I was advised that my WiFi was infected by a virus and it was impacting all attached "devices".  I was told that I needed to Install a Firewall, remove Infections, repair .DLL files, download new drivers, and reinstall the printer.  All would be done remotely.  I was told that I would need to purchase Norton 360 Lifelock Ultimate Plus and an "advanced identity protector. I purchased the software package for five years and covering eight devices and authorised Metaverse Tech to do the work remotely.  The work was done and have been able to print.  I am not able to confirm, however, if I was taken for a ride by Metaverse Tech.
