Hi @mwptennis,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand. To set up your HP printer to a new Wi-Fi network without using a cord, you can follow these steps:

Ensure Printer is Powered On:

  • Make sure your printer is turned on, and the control panel is responsive.

Access Wireless Setup Wizard:

  • From the Home screen on the printer control panel, select the Wireless icon.
  • Tap on "Settings."
  • Select the "Wireless Setup Wizard." This will enable the printer to search for available wireless networks.

Select Your Network:

  • The printer will display a list of detected networks. Choose your network from this list.

Enter Network Credentials:

  • If prompted, enter the Wi-Fi password (WEP key or WPA passphrase). Ensure that you input it correctly, paying attention to case-sensitive characters.

Confirm Connection:

  • Once connected, the printer display should show a confirmation message or a wireless icon indicating a successful connection.

Install HP Software (If Necessary):

  • To take full advantage of your printer’s wireless features, you may need to install or update the printer driver and software from the HP website. During the software installation, choose the wireless connection option.

Verify Connection:

  • Print a network configuration page to ensure the printer is connected to the correct wireless network. This can usually be done from the Tools menu on your printer's control panel.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
