Check Wireless Connection (if applicable)

  1. If you are using a wireless connection, make sure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
  2. Restart your router by unplugging it for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.
  3. Use the HP Smart app or the printer’s control panel to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Factory Reset

  1. With the printer on, press and hold the "Wireless" and "Cancel" buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds or until the Power light blinks.
  2. This will restore the printer to its factory default settings. You will need to set up the printer again using the HP Smart app.

Following these steps should help you identify and resolve the issue with your HP DeskJet 2810e All-In-One Printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hi @Katelyn-13,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

When all the lights on your HP DeskJet 2810e All-In-One Printer are flashing, it usually indicates an error that needs to be addressed. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Power Cycle the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
  2. Wait for 60 seconds.
  3. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and then into the printer.
  4. Turn the printer back on and check if the lights are still flashing.

Check for Paper Jams

  1. Open the input and output trays.
  2. Carefully check for any paper jams inside the printer. Remove any jammed paper gently to avoid tearing.
  3. Make sure there are no small bits of paper left inside.

Check Ink Cartridges

  1. Open the printer cover to access the ink cartridges.
  2. Ensure that the ink cartridges are installed correctly.
  3. Remove and reinsert the ink cartridges to make sure they are seated properly.
  4. Close the printer cover and check if the issue persists.

Reset the Printer

  1. With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
  2. Wait for 60 seconds.
  3. Plug the power cord back into the printer.
  4. Turn the printer back on.

Reinstall the Printer Software

  1. On your computer, go to the HP website and download the latest printer software and drivers for your HP DeskJet 2810e.
  2. Uninstall the current printer software from your computer.
  3. Install the downloaded software and drivers.
