Hi,

I've been using this printer 4yrs now for my business and now all of sudden it's not connecting to the wifi.  I tried other things on the forum but nothing is working. I don't know how to get into my router etc. I did reset to factory and turned off the IPV thing. When I try to manually enter in the SSID and password it's not finding my network. Can you please help. I don't want to have to hook up to my printer with the usb every time. I don't have a big enough work space to do that.

@martelmomma3, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I see that you are not able to connect the printer to a wireless network. Were there any changes to the wireless settings/router?

Print a Wireless Test Report

  1. On the printer control panel, press the Wireless button.

  2. Press the Down arrow until Settings, is highlighted, and then press OK.

  3. Press the Down arrow until Print Report, is highlighted, and then press OK.

  4. Press the Down arrow until Test Report, is highlighted, and then press OK.

A Wireless Network Test Report prints. Check if Wireless ON is passed.

  • Restart the router, the printer, and the PC

On the printer screen, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore network settings

Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network.

  • Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
