Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

I have an Office jet pro 7740 and it has recently started to lose wifi connection on a regular basis.  I can't add the serial number to my device as it does not recognize the number even though entered correctly.  I reassign the wifi password but the wifi light keeps blinking, not solid.  After a week or so it connects again and then drops out, very very frustrating.

Wired connection is not an option? Wired LAN is way more stabile than a wireless.

Agree but a big house so quite a cost and all other devices work reliably except this printer.  It has got to be a printer issue.
